Magnesium Spray with Essential Oils

The spray I put on my legs every night before my PJs go on. Magnesium chloride, distilled water and pure organic essential oils. That's it.

Where it started

Before LivEssence I was a personal trainer. My clients worked hard and felt it the next day. They kept telling me about magnesium spray. So I made my own. Cleaner, and scented with real plant oils instead of fragrance. This is that spray.

Choose your blend

Relax. Lavender and bergamot. Soft and floral. The evening one, after a long day on your feet. I spray it on about 5 minutes before bed.

Energise. Lemongrass and lime. Fresh and sharp. The gym bag one, for before or after training. I can't use this one myself. Lemongrass makes me sneeze.

What's in it

Relax: magnesium chloride, distilled water, lavender and bergamot organic essential oils.
Energise: magnesium chloride, distilled water, lemongrass and lime organic essential oils.

100ml. Hand-blended in small batches in my Cheltenham kitchen. No synthetic fragrance. No fillers.

How to use it

Shake. Spray onto clean skin on your legs, arms or stomach. Rub it in. Start with a few sprays. Avoid freshly shaved or broken skin.

Skin sensitivity & safety

For external use only. Keep away from eyes, face and sensitive areas, and out of reach of children. Do not use on broken, irritated or freshly shaved skin.

Start small. Try a small amount on a small area of intact skin and wait 24 hours before wider use. A patch test does not guarantee you won't react later. Natural essential oils can still cause sensitivity; avoid this blend if you have a known allergy to an ingredient.

Don't push through irritation. If it stings, burns, itches or causes redness, stop using it and rinse off. If irritation persists or worsens, seek advice from a qualified health professional.

Keep the formula as supplied. Do not add neat essential oils or try to dilute the bottle with water. Water alone does not evenly disperse essential oils. If the spray feels too strong for your skin, stop and ask for advice rather than adjusting it yourself.

Using the Relax roll-on too? Avoid layering the spray and roll-on on the same area, especially when trying them for the first time. Letting the spray dry does not remove the possibility of sensitivity from combining products.

Questions

Why a spray and not tablets?
It goes on your skin, so there's nothing to swallow.

Why does it tingle?
Magnesium chloride is a salt. On dry or freshly shaved skin it can sting a little. Use fewer sprays, or moisturise afterwards.

Is it oily?
It's often called magnesium oil, but there's no oil in it. It's magnesium chloride dissolved in water. It can feel a bit slick until it's rubbed in.
