Each of our natural fragrance products are individually handcrafted; because of this, each formula is unique. The upmost care has been put into each product to create the most natural, long lasting, desirable essence. Our products are freshly made to order using only the highest quality ingredients.

Essential Oils

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is completely natural, has many skin benefits, and is completely colourless and odourless. It is rich in nutrients (Vitamin E & B), antioxidants and essential fatty acids that work together to repair damaged skin cells, prevent premature ageing and provide long lasting hydration for the skin. This oil is suitable for all skin types, and particularly suitable for sensitive, oily and combination skin. Our Jojoba Oil is Certified organic* and is our oil of choice for many of our skin care products.

Vitamin E

Our 100% natural Vitamin E oil contains a minimum 85% D-alpha-Tocopherol; the most biologically active form of Vitamin E (minimum activity of 1300IU). Vitamin E is derived from soyabean and canola oil and has many powerful properties. As well as being a natural healing antioxidant, Vitamin E prevents the skin from premature ageing; promoting new skin cell growth and boosting skin collagen production. 

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is one of the most powerful natural skin care ingredients. It  contains natural antibacterial and anti-fungal properties and assists with healing skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis and dermatitis. Aloe Vera is full of nourishing vitamins (A, B , C & Folic Acid), minerals (Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc, Chromium & Selenium) amino acids and active enzymes. Our Aloe Vera Leaf Extract is Certified Organic* and is 100% pure with absolutely no additives.

Glycerine

Glycerine is a natural emollient, soothing and softening the skin and helping it to retain its natural moisture levels. It assists with treating minor skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, and is a natural anti-ageing ingredient; rejuvenating and healing the skin by stimulating and repairing skin cells. Our vegetable derived Glycerine is Certified Organic* and Palm Oil Free.

Witch Hazel

Our Organic Witch Hazel Water is distilled from the leaves, flowers and bark of the Hamamelis Tree, and is one of Mother Nature’s best antioxidants and astringents. It is a natural, gentle skin cleanser and toner, and is particularly beneficial for oily and problem skin types. Our Witch Hazel is alcohol free and 100% organic.

Soy Wax

Soy is an eco-friendly, biodegradable and sustainable product and is made from the oil of soy beans. It is non-toxic and it burns at a lower temperature rate than paraffin candles. Soy has a slower burning rate and a more pure and stronger scent throw than most other candles. LivEssence 100% pure, professional grade soy wax contains no genetically modified organisms (GMO), paraffin or unnatural additives, and is Kosher certified and vegan friendly.

Reed Diffuser Base Liquid

Our plant-based, eco-friendly diffuser liquid is of the highest quality. It provides an eco-solvent diffuser system, derived from plant feedstocks. It is 100% VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) free. Please use caution when transporting this product around the home; it may react with some surfaces if spilled.

Caprylyl Capryl Glucoside

Our products require a solubiliser to bind the essential oils and purified water together. Caprylyl Capryl Glucoside (CCG) is an eco-friendly solubiliser, produced from renewable vegetable-derived raw materials, and is EcoCert approved. It is made using the safest, most effective organic ingredients produced to the highest standards, and maintains the additional natural ingredients used in our products. This solution gives our liquid products a slight cloudy appearance as it works to bind the purified water and natural oils together. 

Glyceryl Caprylate

Glyceryl Caprylate is a naturally derived, EcoCert approved, completely plant-based preservative. All products containing our purified water require an anti-microbial formula to preserve the ingredients. This preservative is derived from vegetable oils. It is also a natural emollient; helping to improve and maintain the moisture of the skin and combat skin impurities.

Xantham Gum

Xantham Gum is a natural, vegetable-derived thickening ingredient. We have sourced the most suitable, natural thickener for our products that require this ingredient to meet the correct consistency we need to obtain in certain liquid formulas. 

Bio Ethanol

Our Natural Hand Sanitisers contain an active ingredient of denatured ethanol (ethyl alcohol). Our exclusive Bio Ethanol is a renewable product derived from various vegetables, fruits, crops and sugarcane. It is made through an eco-friendly process compared to other ethanol and cosmetic alcohols.

Product Vessels

At LivEssence, we carefully source reusable, refillable, recyclable and natural materials for containing our product ingredients. Our vessels are made with glass, ceramic, PET (a highly recyclable plastic) and various other reusable, recyclable and compostable materials.

Glass is an impermeable, non porous and infinitely recyclable material, completely free of harmful chemicals.

Ceramic consists entirely of naturally -occurring raw materials. It is 100% recyclable and can be added as ground material to the production process or used in other industries as a valuable raw material.

PET has a significantly better eco-balance compared to other plastics. The recyclability of PET means that packaging waste is reduced and the volume of waste incineration decreases. The raw materials consumption in production is lower than with many other plastics. Recycling PET leads to a 60% energy savings compared to the energy requirements for producing new plastics.

Our cardboard melt packaging is a sturdy reusable vessel or can be recycled. These cylinders are lined with a compostable Bio-Liner to keep the inner cardboard from being in contact with the soy melts. Our Bio-Liners are home compostable and have a shelf life of 18mths before decomposition begins. 

Packaging

Where possible, the materials used for shipping your products are reused from the packaging supplied from LivEssence suppliers, or are recyclable materials. This includes cardboard boxes for shipping, recycled brown paper filling, tissue paper and eco-friendly, biodegradable bubble wrap. While LivEssence strives to use recyclable and environmentally friendly materials, it means your products will arrive without a pretty product box.... this being said, your home fragrance products are able to be created and shipped at a more affordable cost, without contributing to waste. LivEssence marketing material is printed on 100% recyclable card.

We source all ingredients and product vessels from Australian businesses. We ensure these businesses are as environmentally friendly as possible, practice sustainable production, and are strictly cruelty-free.
